Leigh Anderton-Hall is a Whanganui-based artist holding both a BFA and an MFA. After a  25-year career in teaching, she transitioned to full-time studio practice, dedicating the past 12 years primarily to ceramics.

Her work weaves complex narratives at the intersection of the human form, natural imagery, and urban structures. Employing an assemblage approach that blends drawing, painting, and constructed objects, Leigh draws on personal history and archetypes to bring her stories to life. A 2022 finalist in the prestigious Portage Ceramic Awards, she is represented by Space Studio & Gallery in Whanganui.
