Leigh Anderton-Hall is a Whanganui-based artist with a BFA and MFA. After a 25-year teaching career, she now focuses full-time on her studio practice, with ceramics as her primary medium for the past 12 years.

Her work explores narrative through the intersection of the human form, natural imagery, and urban structures. Using an assemblage approach of drawing, painting, and constructed objects, she draws from personal history and archetypes to tell her stories. Leigh was a 2022 finalist in the Portage Ceramic Awards and is represented by Space Studio & Gallery in Whanganui.
